August Biehle (b 1885 d 1979)

Due to diligent recording that includes a complete video, and documented distribution of works by August Biehle-Family, the Cleveland Public Library, Cleveland Artists Foundation, Biehle's interests in scene painting in a variety of styles, mostly thought to be modern at the time, is preserved. He worked in both the commercial world of the Sherwin-Williams Paint Company and of lithography. He joined with the Berlin Heights artists, and his work was shown in many group shows in the galleries through the 70s.
